Celestial Quartz Crystals, RELICS & ARIFACTS and Finnabair Glass Glitters:
Transform an ordinary thrift store find, like this metal candle holder into a Magical Keeper of the Flame! I used one of the new sets of resins from the SUMMER 2015 Prima Marketing Flowers collection called "Liberatas" crown, wings, and face (begins shipping in August). Paint your relics pieces to match the color of the candle holder, adhere them in place using GOOP, arrange the crystals and glue in place, apply white glue around crystals to create a radiating star burst effect and sprinkle Finnabair Art Ingredients Glass Glitters in 3 complimenting tones, here I used Copper, Midnight Blue and Pitch Black. DIY instant home decor!! Visit the Prima blog to see lots more of the wonderful new things being released for SUMMER 2015! http://prima.typepad.com/…/summer-2015-sneak-peeks-relics-a…

EXCITING NEW RELEASES for SUMMER 2015!!
NEW RELICS & ARTIFACTS
I am so thrilled about all the wonderful new things that we've Prima Marketing Flowers been working on, lots of fun and interesting pieces to add to the ever growing line that is RELICS & ARTIFACTS... I'll share a couple of things here and then you must pop on over to http://prima.typepad.com/…/summer-2015-sneak-peeks-relics-a… to see more!! Fabulous new faces to play with... like Neptune, and a beautiful Winged Pegasus Seahorse!! I have created some cool wooden "backers" so that you can make more elaborate and versatile hanging and free standing pieces by adding wings, crowns and such. There will be a set of large gorgeous antique flowers that came from a very big, very old porcelain vase salvaged from a bombed out factory in Dresden, Germany during WWII. The factory is no longer there but these precious flowers found their way to me and now on to you!! Check out the painted examples over on the Prima blog... I tried to mimic the delicate colors and patterns of the originals. Also speaking of DRESDEN, we are putting out a beautiful line of foiled Dresden paper trims that go perfectly with the RELICS line!! Please leave your comments on the Prima blog and let them know what you think of the new collections and please feel free to share this post!! xoxo

Risks and Reward
Having a little discussion with one of my Relics & Artifacts tribe members reminded me of something I'd like to share with you... when I first started out in my art career I got a lot of rejection letters to my submissions. It only made me work harder and want it even more. And the funny thing is that I kept those rejection letters, every last one of them! I made the conscious decision to let them fuel the fire instead of put it out!! Even getting this RELICS & ARTIFACTS line out was no easy task, turned down again and again until someone else caught sight of my vision and got it!! Prima Marketing Flowers I believed in this collection and wasn't going to stop because I know that we must take risks in life to receive the rewards that really mean something to us! Moral to this little story DREAM AS BIG AS YOU WANT TO and then JUST GO FOR IT!! SAIL AWAY ON YOUR IMAGINATIONS and NEVER LOOK BACK!! ....WIP and Thank You for allowing me to share my dreams with you!!

Beauty Revealed
Today I just want to reveal a little inspiration: to share a small snippet of my "collecting" life... each object represents something very special to me but the only thing these items have in common is that they were all handmade...
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and in the finger tips of the artist who brought it to life!
