Relics & Artifacts Heaven!

Seeing them all like this, well, they take my breath away. Soft, creamy white, smooth matte finish... I don't know just something so soothing to me about them in their "raw" state. Sometimes I almost have a hard time painting them because I love seeing them like this so much! I guess they are like my babies in a way and ok, maybe I am a little obsessed!
Mix and match until your hearts content.

Relics & Artifacts Chandelier Pendant Blanks

Hard to believe but there are only 107 days left until Christmas!! Relics & Artifacts Chandelier Pendants are the perfect craft blank to create dozens of holiday ornaments.... I used gold, silver and copper leaf along with a bit of decoupage to make these. I am imagining one for every member of the family with a pretty Monogramed Initial!

Feeling Nostalgic today...

Did I ever tell you that one time I punched John Stamos in the stomach?! Really hard!! Just to back track a bit... I did a guest appearance on Full House in 1989, after auditioning I was thrilled to get the call from my agent that I got the small role! I had one scene but it sure was fun spending the day with those guys. Bob Saget & Dave Coulier were always joking around, Lori Laughlin was a dear and John, well he was a cutie and a bit of a flirt... I played the part of a waitress in a casino and John is trying to make Lori jealous so he flirts with me and chats me up, I tell him to get lost and "boom" punch him! We rehearsed the scene a few times before filming that evening in front of an audience. I had been just "tapping" his belly during rehearsals, right before we shot the scene John came over and said, "Listen you've got to really punch me HARD, give it all you've got!" I said "Are you sure??!!" I didn't want to hurt him... (just cuz I was woefully skinny didn't mean I wasn't strong) He said "Yep, as hard as you can, it should look real!" I thought ok, will do. That night with cameras rolling, John delivered his lines.... I delivered mine, hauled off and "Pow" punched him in the belly! He doubled over, turned red and went silent!!! The director yelled cut, the audience and whole crew clapped and laughed meanwhile John was still bent over gasping for air! I had knocked the wind out of him... we had to shoot the scene one more time and this time he said to take it a little easier!! Funny day..... I remember back then my (modeling and acting) life was exciting and scary at the same time, you never knew when your next job would be... my crazy life!
