So remember a bit back when I posted this Ship of Dreams WIP? Here are the finished pieces, I caught a few shots before they set sail on their long voyage... I used the RELICS & ARTIFACTS cameo's painted to resemble antique carved coral and lava stone. I custom mix my paint colors to get the tones just right and to give them a lovely tactile surface they have been rubbed with candle wax and buffed up with an old toothbrush, a simple but effective technique that adds a nice luster.
